Price is always a key component to a successful collection, but as thousands will testify, good prices in China usually come at the cost of quality and high product returns eat away at profit margins.

Landor has had an in house quality control office in Hangzhou/China for over 15 years. Working in conjunction with the UK product developers and designers, we inspect every shipment and every component assuring that Landor quality is always at the very highest standard. With almost 50 staff in our China office, the Landor policy of designing away returns along with the rigid testing of every shipment, allows us to boast a returns rate of far less than 1%.

The trained inspectors do more than control product quality; they also monitor ticketing and labeling and POS materials, along with packing and shipment details. They also continually search the region for new materials, products and the best production facilities. In short the CNQC is a vital link in the supply chain to guarantee that our customers will receive exactly what they order, on time and free from defects and problems.

For major customers we also work alongside major testing houses such as SGS, ITS or Bureau Veritas. Such companies will check details against agreed specifications; our own inspectors will go far beyond this and are specifically trained to eliminate potential problems before shipment is made.
