The advent of EVA foamed soft luggage opened the possibility of developing a truly frameless soft suitcase. However, the technical problems to achieving this proved far more difficult than expected. After two years of development, invention of patent protected technology, Landor launched the first Frameless soft case.

The modern age of high fuel costs and cut price travel has seen the airline industry targeting over weight luggage as an easy excuse for additional charges. Frameless suitcases are on average 25% lighter than conventional luggage and no internal frame means more space for packing inside.
